Collection of Data
SSMBI does not collect Internet User identity or contact
information from Internet Users' visits to the SSMBI Web site. For each
visitor to the SSMBI web sites, the visitor's computer reaches us via a
particular IP, (Internet Protocol), address. The SSMBI site servers
automatically log this IP address.
An Internet User's browser sets Cookies (when enabled)
that contain small amounts of data on the Internet User's computer after a
visit to any web site.
No information is obtained from the Internet User or Internet User's
computer to generate the unique identifying number of the Internet User.
SSMBI's servers may automatically generate the unique number if you have
accessed by clicking on an affiliate link. None of SSMBI's Cookies are used
to perform "User Profiling".
SSMBI does receive and record partial e-mail addresses of Internet Users,
only in circumstances where the Internet User has voluntarily provided its
identity and contact information by filling out a form on the SSMBI site.
This partial e-mail address does not enable SSMBI to
personally identify an Internet User.
If a SSMBI affiliate were to provide any personally identifying
information to SSMBI beyond name and/or e-mail address, SSMBI would discard
that information immediately.
Disabled and Non-functioning Cookies
SSMBI does not employ any technology or means of preventing an Internet
User from disabling the acceptance of a Cookie. Most Web browsers
automatically accept cookies, but an Internet User's browser may be set by
the Internet User to disable this function. Some Web browsers or similar
Internet navigating technology may not support (or consistently support)
Cookie technology.
Use and Disclosure of Data
SSMBI does not sell or rent personally identifying information. SSMBI
does not disclose personally identifying information to anyone that SSMBI is
not authorized to do so. SSMBI uses anonymous user data to create and report
the browsing, purchasing and/or lead form completion activities of anonymous
users.
SSMBI reserves the right to release information on Internet Users if
compelled to do so by proper judicial or governmental authorities.
Disclosure shall be limited to only to those that SSMBI is compelled to
disclose to. At present, all information processing occurs in the United
States and in Canada.
Security Measures
SSMBI employs industry standard security measures to ensure the security
of all data.
Spam
SSMBI does not intentionally send unsolicited e-mail messages that could
legitimately be construed as spam. SSMBI's Advertisers and Publishers are
held to the same standards.
COPPA
Since you may not become a member of SSMBI's Network if you are under the
age of 18, SSMBI complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
of 1998. Advertisers and Publishers are also obligated to comply with COPPA.
If you inform SSMBI that SSMBI has collected or received information from
a child under 18, SSMBI.net will delete such information and
services immediately from its databases. SSMBI shall not knowingly
distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information
erroneously collected from children under 18.
Policy Changes
SSMBI may find it necessary or be legally obligated to update this
Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this site.
Except as otherwise required by law, modifications to this Privacy Policy
will not affect the privacy of data collected by SSMBI prior to the
effective date of the policy change.
