You may wish to entice customers to buy more by offering volume discounts. You will see the following discount options in our Shopping Cart:

As you can see, you can offer leveled cash discounts on orders based on total order dollar value; leveled cash discount on orders based on the total number of items ordered, percentage discount based on the total order dollar value and percentage discount based on the number of items purchased.

IMPORTANT!!! when you have decided which discount to go with, YOU MUST select the radio button and go all the way to the bottom of the GENERAL SETTINGS and click 'Submit'. Then go back to the Main Menu and click on General Settings.

Once you have selected the discount you want to use, have gone to the bottom of the General Settings and clicked on the Update button, gone to the main menu and back into the General Settings, then click on the Edit Discount button. The following window will open:

The window that opens will not have anything filled in, but we have entered the above information for your review. In the above scenario, your customers would receive a $10.00 discount for purchases between $50 and $99. We are in the process of adding another discount for orders above $100 for $20; we must simply click the Add button.

One can edit or delete discounts by clicking on the appropriate buttons provided.

The dollar discount on quantity is similar, but instead of entering Starting Values and Ending Values that are dollar amounts, you would enter quantities.

You may also give percentage discounts. If you choose the percentage discount option you would see the following:

As you can see, we have chosen to give a 5.00% discount for orders between $50 and $99 and are in the process of adding a 10.00% discount for orders over $100.
